Children's data
A child's data stays under the centre's control
Growio holds children's health and progress records, so we spell out who is responsible for what.
The centre is the controller, Talivio the processor
Your centre is responsible for student and parent data; Talivio Technology OÜ processes it only on the centre's instructions, under a written data processing agreement.
Diagnosis and history are special-category data
Health data is processed only with the parent's explicit consent. Without consent, or once it is withdrawn, only those fields go unused; the child's lessons and other records continue.
Photos and videos are released one by one
Lesson media becomes visible to a parent only after the centre approves it; media marked hidden is never sent to the app.
Hosted in the EU, no names sent to AI
Data is stored on servers in the EU (France). For centres in Türkiye this is a cross-border transfer under KVKK Art. 9, covered in the agreement. The optional term summary never receives the child's name, surname or diagnosis.
